Available data on credit bureaus

The Central Bank of Russia has developed and implemented new public service for natural persons and other borrowers. Now data from the Central Catalogue of Credit Histories is available at the Public Services Portal of the Russian Federation.

To make an inquiry as a natural person, passport data and individual insurance account number (SNILS) are required. The Central Bank will send to the user’s account the data on bureau keeping credit histories, including name, address and phone.

Obtaining the credit history itself is possible by showing passport in bureau and banks or online on their websites. Once a year, this service is cost-free.

Note, that since January 31, 2018, the amendments to the Federal law no 218-FL”On credit histories” dated December 30, 2004 have come into force. Following these amendments, the borrowers, including natural persons, can make a free-cost query twice a year or unlimited number of chargeable queries on credit reports through credit institutions having agreements for information services with credit bureaus. This can be carried out in the form of electronic documents signed with ordinary or enhanced unqualified electronic signature.
